Grown-up and Me! Kids Cupcake Class - St Patrick's Day!
This class is a perfect way to introduce the child in your life to fun in the kitchen. In this class each child will be decorating 12 cupcakes in 3 different themes. These designs include a rainbow with a pot of gold, rainbow buttercream with gold coin, and a kelly green design with Lucky Charms marshmallows. The students will learn about the proper control and pressure while piping the buttercream and will be able to be creative with colors and details.
March 16th, 6-7:30pm - Sweet Katees Bakery: 501 E 3rd St. Big Spring
Each adult/child combo will receive one dozen cupcakes that they will “share”. They will also go home with a new piping tip so they can recreate some of their designs at home. A maximum of 2 children per adult is allowed under the one cost (register with parent name please). If you are attending class with 2 children, they will be sharing the decorating duties for the one dozen cupcakes. Additional dozens may be purchased, if requested, but must be added to your cart at the time of purchasing this class (under the “baked goods” tab). While this class is ideal for younger children, the minimum age for this class is 5 years of age. Children 16 years and older may attend the class with a relative and act as the adult.
All required products needed for this class will be supplied. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes. Please be aware that clothing MAY get dirty. Water or similar beverage is allowed and encouraged. Cancelations will result in a credit for a future class of equal or lessor value. No refunds or product credit in the bakery will be given.
*This class has been prepared for in advance. Many aspects of the preparation require time, research and practice. Because of the amount of advance preparation that is required, no refunds for classes are given. If you are not able to attend class due to illness or some other reason, a credit of 50% of the cost of class will be given towards the purchase/registration of another class. Any special gifts that may accompany a class you have registered for but do not attend will not be saved for you and will be a loss. Any questions about this class should be asked BEFORE registration is completed. While certain age restrictions apply to each class, special circumstances may be considered at the discretion of the teacher.
**Gluten free cake is an option for every class. Registrants who require GF cake should make a note of this in the check out and also specify their preference of chocolate or vanilla GF cake. Although the cake may be GF, the cake is baked in a gluten rich environment and extreme allergies should considered before registering.
Provided supplies: Cupcakes buttercream, piping tips and piping bags, candy and all cupcake decorations, piping tip for each child to take home with them.
